P2P File Sharing

File sharing has become really common in the modern world where it is commonplace to send files to one another for convenience. File sharing is when one sends information from one computer to another via a network. P2P file sharing has gotten popular as well. P2P file sharing stands for peer to peer file sharing and this is when a person is able to access files like movies, games  and books on a P2P network from other users connected to that network. P2P file sharing is something that is common now in the new age of technology where everything can be found with a quick search on the internet. An example is stated in Brain Stelter and Brad Stone's New York Times article, Digital Pirates Winning Battle with Studios. The examples that they gave are things that most people do when on these P2P networks. Some were music downloads from CDs and recordings for television shows. Additionally, people can download movies that are not even out on DVD yet easily. These have resulted in decline in sales for DVDs and music.
