Children's Attachment to their Mothers

My research topic would be the development of the minds of adolescents between the age of 6 months to ten years of age. The research would focus on the attachment that children have with their mother and how it affects the child's development with varying levels of such attachment. How I would approach this research would be to find research articles that focus on the attachment of children. In addition I will find real life examples of how important this topic is and tie in the research with the examples.
